Be honest with me, do you wear a SPF everyday? I’m not here to chastise you, but I will share a friendly reminder that even through the winter months, an SPF should be a firm part of your daily routine. Why? Because those UV rays are still doing their thing, even if you’re not feeling the warmth of the sun. Sunscreen also helps protect against premature and photoaging, with it also proven to protect against cellular DNA damage and hyperpigmentation too so if you feel like your skin feels particularly knackered through the colder months, this could be the reason why. But with brighter days just around the corner (we know, finally, right?), there’s no time like the present to set a good SPF routine in motion.
If you’re completely at a loss as to where you can find the perfect daily SPF for you, then fear not, because I’ve hunted out the top trending SPFs for your face, that will do your skin so much good and decrease the risk of any harm. As they’re part of your skincare regime rather than your beach bag, you need formulas that are lightweight, non-greasy, yet still protective.
