At this point we’re all in agreement that summer has been a total washout. While I’m appreciative of this last minute pick-me-up, it doesn’t change the fact that my head has been optimistically focused on the thought of a new season for months now. For its Fall 2024 collection, every editor's high-street favourite has teamed up with the multi-talented artist, photographer, and filmmaker Nadia Lee Cohen. Known for a striking, cinematic style that’s seen her work with the likes of Kim “Skims” Kardashian and Beyonce, Cohen's work is a vivid blend of surrealism and retro Americana. There’s also a dash of late '70s and early '80s aesthetics which is precisely what makes this collaboration so exciting. Cohen’s lens brings the collection’s nostalgia-driven pieces to life, infusing them with her signature blend of quirk and sophistication.
& Other Stories’ sartorial line-up draws heavily from those same decades so expect dramatic draping, luxuriously sheened fabrics, and a dynamic interplay of textures - all combined with modern sensibilities. And in Cohen's hands, these pieces don't just exist—they come alive.
