Uniqlo's Spring Collection Proves It's Never Too Early To Start Thinking About Linen

Because nothing says warm weather is on its way like easy breezy linen - and Uniqlo is known to have some of the best and most affordable on the high street.
I don't know about you, but I am so ready for spring. I am done with the doom and gloom, the grey skies and the rain clouds that are covering us right now - and, judging by what's new on the high street, it looks like I'm not alone. With the promise of better weather and blossom now on the trees comes the return of a wardrobe that's no longer centred around a puffer jacket, chunky knit jumpers and the sturdiest boots I can find. Soon I'll be right back to styling my favourite season, including one very loved fabric: linen.
Whilst I'm partial to a white jean or a little sun dress, the true hero of my spring time wardrobe is linen - and lots of it.Nothing can put your wardrobe in more of easy breezy mindset than a light waistcoat or a wafty shirt - something that features heavily in Uniqlo's new spring collection which happens to be a breath of fresh air all round. Full to the brim with light and airy fabrics and easy to wear garments in linen blends, the Japanese retailer has something of a reputation for its brilliantly made and affordably priced linen and its latest drop has me counting down the days until I can officially start wearing it.

With linen shirts galore, effortlessly chic linen dresses and even linen blends jumpers — I know what you're thinking. You're probably scratching your head wondering why you'd need a summery frock in the middle of what still feels like winter - and I hear you, but there are other ways to style summer's favourite fabric, even when the sun fails to shine. For example, why not layer a long sleeved top underneath the shirred dress, whack on some tights and style with some sneakers or boots? And with a premium linen shirt, why not wear it beneath a linen blends jumper, a midi skirt and a pair of chunky shoes? The styling possibilities are endless, but your ability to snap up the best of it before everyone else is not.
